Beyond the Cherry Tree Update

I have three more blocks to share from the "Beyond the Cherry Tree" designs that I am working on.  Only two blocks left to stitch after these.

The basket with the handle block is a favorite of mine from the pattern set.

Lots of circles on this block.

Less pieces but still took tome time.

I am anxious to get the last two blocks done and then start prepping the border pieces.  I want to move on to other projects!

  2. SOOO many little circles in the completion of these blocks. Boggles my mind, Karen. They are amazing.
I am going back to stitching on those 2 1/2" log cabin strips you sent me years ago. Much more doable, IMHO. LOL

  8. I love that first basket with it's wispy branches and berries. It feels relaxed instead of stiff and proper. The fruit bowl is very nice too. I know what you mean about finishing up old projects so you can start the new ones. What new projects do you have your eye on?

  17. Great progress! It's a huge quilt. My top is together and marked for quilting. I decided to skip the border so it would fit on my quilt frame.

  18. Love that handle basket. The vase looks a bit like a petulant child with a unhappy face. It gave me a giggle when is scrolled down to it.
